Hawker is a Flinders Ranges town situated around 365KM N of Adelaide.

It was a thriving railway town from the 1880โ€™s through until the mid-1950โ€™s, when the rail route was shifted further west.

Their current day economy is based on sheep, a growing number of cattle and in tourism.

The location of Willow Springs Station is around 21KM NE of Wilpena Pound (just 3km off the Flinders Ranges Way), and around 71KM NE from the town of Hawker.

There is a limited number of bush camping sites; around 2KM from the homestead.
