Bemm River Caravan Park – Gippsland
Bemm River is a popular fishing village where the river feeds into the Sydenham Inlet; a perfect place to fish and just chill out.
There are no fuel stations in town, so make sure you fill up before you get there so that you have plenty of fuel in reserve; the nearest stations are at Cann River and Orbost.

Dogs are welcome in the Camping and Caravan site areas, but are not permitted inside the Cabins, although can sleep on the verandahs.
They must be supervised at all times, tethered around the park and on a lead when being walked.

Loch Sport Caravan Park – Gippsland Lakes area
You are surrounded by water in this location; fishing, boating and swimming are all first class.
There are also National Parks and Coastal Parks where generally dogs are not permitted; read your signs to be safe.
There are no such issues at Loch Sport Caravan Park, where they are dog friendly at the managers discretion.
Dogs can be in your caravan but are not permitted in the amenities block and the cabins.

Although the area is quiet and peaceful there is plenty to see and do including the local RSL, restaurants and bars.

Beechworth Lake Sambell Caravan Park
Beechworth is an interesting town with a historic precinct, many of which are made from local granite.
There are over 30 buildings in the township listed by the National Trust as it is regarded as Victoria’s best-preserved historic gold mining town.
There are great walks, cycling trails, gorgeous picnic spots, local wineries, restaurants and the home of Beechworth honey.
The caravan park has over 50 powered sites and 70 unpowered sites and is the area where dogs are permitted, all years except for the Easter weekend.

Cowes Foreshore Tourist Park – Phillip Island
Phillip Island is one of those places famous for its Motorcycle and Car racing but there is so much more to the area.
There are great coastal cruises around the island and Wilsons Promontory, the amazing Antarctic Journey at the Nobbies, or heading off for the day on your own adventure.
The park does have 1 only pet friendly cabin, but small animals are permitted in the camping and caravan section at the manager’s discretion.

Maryborough is a historical town in The Goldfields and an ideal place to explore the region including Ballarat and Bendigo.
