Aside from the great beaches, there is a lot of history in the area to explore. There are also several National Parks; remember these will not permit dogs.

This park is pet friendly, for small pets and only for their powered caravan sites; a fee will apply. You will be provided with a pet policy to sign on arrival; dogs must be on a lead at all times and cannot enter any of the cabins or communal facilities. We would still recommend calling ahead to discuss your dog prior to booking.

Their facilities include a Camp Kitchen, BBQ, laundry, recreation room, playground, WIFI availability and swimming pool.

Northam Caravan Park

Northam Caravan Park – Northam (Avon Valley)

This property is dog friendly to caravans only and if you fit that category and are doing a road trip then Northam is an ideal place for a stopover and base. Being in the Avon Valley you have a wine region close by. If travelling further Northam is a crossroads town with highway links; West to Perth, South to Albany, East to Coolgardie (then to Kalgoorlie or further East to interstate), or North staying inland almost to Port Hedland.

The park has a Camp Kitchen, BBQ, laundry, and dog exercise area. Check with them that your dog is OK before making your booking.

In the Kimberley region, around 1,681KM north of Perth is a peninsula with Cable Beach on one side looking out to the Indian Ocean and the neighboring Broome looking back to the mainland. If you are like us then you would have seen both areas feature on many travel TV shows over the years; they are major tourist areas along with fishing, pearls and cuisine with influences from indigenous and many different migrant cultures.

This holiday park has pet friendly powered sites only. Dogs are not allowed in the cabins or communal areas.

Other facilities include a Camp Kitchen, BBQ’s, laundry, fish cleaning station, mini-golf, 19M salt water swimming pool, store and café, and internet access.

Swan Valley Tourist Park

Swan Valley Tourist Park – West Swan (Greater Perth area)

West Swan is a suburb of Perth, on the western side of the Swan; and is only 18KM to the Perth CBD. West Swan Road links traffic from Perth to the wineries area of Swan Valley. The wineries and the historic town of Guildford make a great day tour from this tourist park.

Facilities included at this park are a Camp Kitchen, BBQ’s, laundry, recreation centre, playground, and swimming pool.

Pets are permitted on the caravan sites only. You will need to advise them of your dog prior to booking. They will supply you with a Pet Policy form to complete.

Albany Gardens Tourist Park

Albany Gardens Tourist Park – Albany (South West region)

The city of Albany is at the southern tip of WA and is around 418KM SE of Perth. It is well known for its beaches and formerly housed a large whaling station.

Facilities at this park include a Camp Kitchen, laundry, BBQ’s, pizza oven, free WIFI, recreation room, playground and a swimming pool; all within a 1KM walk to the CBD.

This tourist park is pet friendly; in addition to the camping sites they do also consider pets for their caravan sites and cabins. This is subject to application, approval and availability as well as seasonality; no dogs are allowed during peak holiday seasons.

BIG4 Hobart Airport Tourist Park

Cambridge is a suburb of Hobart situated on the eastern side of the River Derwent midway between the CBD and Airport. It is a short drive into the CBD and conveniently located for heading in all directions.

This holiday park has BBQ’s, Camp Kitchen, playground, WIFI and a laundry. Their powered sites and ensuite sites are dog friendly.

Snug Beach Cabin & Caravan Park

Snug is a small seaside town around a 20-minute drive south of Hobart. It is also a town that has seen hard times, with massive bushfires in 1967 that destroyed around two thirds of the homes.

The park offers free WIFI, coin-operated laundry, usual toilet amenities, Camp Kitchen and BBQ facilities. As well as camping sites they have powered sites for caravans and some sites are large enough to house RV’s and 5th wheelers.

Their sites are pet friendly by arrangement; it would be best to discuss this with them prior to making your booking.

There is so much to see in Hobart and the south east that having a great base is a must. Risdon is a great location without being right in the city. It has easy access to head in many directions and is very close to one of the Derwent River bridges for getting to places such as MONA only a short drive.

This park is dog friendly, offers free WIFI, BBQ area, playground, laundry, a bouncing pillow and sports facilities.

The dog friendly accommodation at this park is limited to powered sites and ensuite powered sides; as well as occasionally a budget cabin. Approval is needed in advance and is subject to availability and the managers discretion.

Naracoorte is an inland town on the Limestone Coast, situated around 336 KM SE of Adelaide and 100KM N of Gambier.

This park has powered and unpowered sites as well as selected cabins as their dog friendly accommodation options. Mention your dog’s needs to them prior to making your booking.

If you are after a swimming pool; right next door is an entire swimming lake! Other facilities include a Camp Kitchen, mini golf, tiny train, and a giant games area.
