Naturalpetshop Slow Cooker Dog Food #2 (Ground Beef, Kidney Beans and Butternut)

Ground Beef, Kidney Beans and Butternut

My 4-year old Labradoodle (Rocket) has decided that this Beef, Beans and Vegetables slow cooker recipe from Naturalpetshop is his favorite tucker.

He has never been a dog that is fussy with his food, so that made me confident that he would eat this one OK. I wasn’t prepared for just how much he would love it.

Fortunately, I portion control each bath and that makes it easier to not overfeed.

On behalf of Rocket and me, thanks Naturalpetshop.

Slow cookers get hot and the food can break down due to the length of time cooking. Therefore, use ingredients that you would use if making a stew or casserole for yourself – exclude Onions and Garlic of course.

This is probably the best way to provide special food required for any dog with health issues. This recipe is so easy to prepare and you become good pals with your grocery store meat manager when you ask them for the ingredients.
